Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs
Maslow’s psychological theory effectively categorizes human needs into five distinct levels, which are often depicted as a structured hierarchy that ranges from the most basic foundational elements to the more advanced and complex requirements of human existence.

Self-Esteem
Needs like respect, recognition, and achievement are crucial. Without them, individuals may face low self-worth, self-doubt, and lack of confidence, hindering personal growth and relationships.
Love & Community
People seek social connections, love, and a sense of belonging with family, friends, and social groups. Lack of contact and a sense of belonging can lead to loneliness, depression, and feelings of isolation. This can impact a person's mental and emotional well-being.
Safety
This particular level encompasses the fundamental and essential needs for safety, security, stability, and adequate protection from both physical and emotional harm. When an individual lacks this crucial protection, they may find themselves grappling with feelings of fear, anxiety, and persistent stress. These negative emotions can significantly hinder their ability to concentrate on other important aspects of life or to effectively pursue higher-level needs and aspirations.
Physiological
These are the basic necessities for survival, which include essential elements such as nutritious food, clean water, breathable air, adequate shelter, and restorative sleep. The inability to meet these fundamental needs can lead to a variety of physical health problems, as well as issues like malnutrition. Additionally, a lack of access to these critical resources can result in a persistent state of stress and anxiety, affecting both mental and emotional well-being over time.
Purl
I like pikmin. I collect them, I draw them, I admire them and I wanted to sculpt my favorite purple queen in a 3D program so I did. She can lift 10x her bodyweight and squish you in combat but has an enormous heart and a positive attitude.
